Businesses worldwide grapple with the large amounts of paper that are circulated throughout the office and then hand routed, mailed, stored, or eventually lost. With the introduction of digital copiers (virtually all copiers that are sold today are digital and offer scanning and network capabilities), your old office copier has been reborn as a document distribution center that can transform the way you share, distribute, and store critical business documents and at the same time eliminate your faxing, overnight delivery, and document storage costs. eCopy’s award winning document scanning systems and software are used in a broad range of industries and organizations. eCopy customers are able to easily integrate paper documents into their electronic workflows and take advantage of the added benefits of document security, traceability, simple IT administration, and customization to reduce transaction costs, speed document delivery, and maximize employee productivity.
eCopy ShareScan OP
eCopy ShareScan OP sets a competitive standard for simple, secure, and cost effective electronic distribution and integration of paper-based information. This award-winning software enables users of a departmental or enterprise network to share the digital copier's ability to turn paper documents into digital files, which can then be distributed down the hall or around the world over the corporate network or Internet.
To use eCopy, the user simply places the paper document in the digital copier's paper tray, and selects an eCopy option. Scanning options include sending to the user's desktop, network fax, e-mail, or backend enterprise application. The document runs through the digital copier at high speed. Then, the user selects recipients from the online address book and creates a PDF file that can be handled like any other electronic file.
eCopy Desktop
eCopy Desktop provides an intuitive, user-friendly interface that enables users to manage, modify and share Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) documents the same way they handle paper-based information at their desktops. The software’s full support for Adobe’s PDF libraries and intuitive user interface enables office workers to access powerful features to create, annotate and distribute PDF files without the requirement for other, more complex software applications.
eCopy Desktop supports PDF permissions and document encryption, which allow organizations to set and apply policies to electronic documents to maintain confidentiality, privacy, and accountability inside and outside the firewall.
