Ronald M. Varing
President/CEO

Ronald M. Varing is IBE’s Chief Executive Officer. Ron established International Business Equipment in 1986, which is now the 13th largest Konica dealer in the United States. IBE is also one of the largest independent service organizations in the U.S., and Ron sits on the Board of Directors for the National Service Organization.

Ron was born on April 13, 1955 in Gardena, California. His family moved to El Monte where he was raised. He attended schools in the El Monte Unified School District. After graduating high school, Ron played college basketball for Stanislaus State for one year.

In 1982, Ron went to work for the 3M Company and was their number one sales rep for the western region prior to his departure. He then became the Western regional Sales Manager for Stewart Chemical. Recognizing his talent, Equipment Brokers Unlimited recruited him as their Director of Marketing.

Ron also supports various charitable organizations. Organizations such as, the Eagle Program, The Fernando Ledesma Scholarship Fund in his Alma Mater, El Monte High School. He is also a corporate sponsor of USC, El Monte Emergency Resources Association, and is an ongoing sponsor of the Boy’s Club in Long Beach. Ron is married and has 2 beautiful children.
